Winch Industries Pty. Ltd. was established in Brisbane in the early 1970's as a winch manufacturing and general engineering firm. We have steadily grown to become a significant force in the gear cutting, general engineering and winch production industry. We pride ourselves on having achieved an excellent reputation in the marketplace for honesty and reliability and we are known for going that little bit further to make sure your job is done right.

Our company is basically divided into two divisions:
We design and manufacture a complete range of production winches for the tow truck, tilt tray and recovery market along with an extensive range of large hand winches, and winches to suit marine application, boat ramps and crane uses. We also manufacture spare parts for winches that are difficult to source or are no longer in production.

Our other division specialises in the manufacture of all types of gears. On our premises we can manufacture bevel gears, worm wheels and worm shafts, helical and straight cut spur gears, large sprockets, rack cutting, internal and external splines, slotting, gear tooth grinding, thread milling and all facets of general engineering.

We also import various winches and electric motors from around the world. We have particularly sourced these units because we consider them to be the best in their field.

If you have a standard winch application or, for that matter, one that is unusual, we can help you. If you have a general engineering enquiry, we can help you there as well. If you require gears, sprockets, worms and worm wheels, racks and pinions, etc., this can all be achieved in our own workshop.
